We are about two hours north west of Toronto and approximately 1 hour west of Collingwood. We are located in the beautiful Grey Bruce region of Ontario, Canada, between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. Health is important to us, all dogs have OFA hip, eye, heart, and elbow certifications. Both our females and studs are AKC registered, and come from champion bloodlines. Our dogs are the absolute best family dogs- calm, loving, and easy to train. Beautiful, trainable and athletic are the top priorities with any of our horses, ponies and dogs. We have been a small, family breeder of golden retrievers for over 25+ years. We now continue to breed and raise Sport Ponies.
Initially, we bred and raised two Canadian Sport Horses, Cover Girl (Zoe) and her son Mesmereyes (Hamish) by Eyes to Rule, who is now 22 yrs young. In addition to showing and breeding dogs, we have always been actively involved in horses. We ensure that all breeding stock has attained full health clearances, as our puppies and young dogs will be selected as loving pets and companions as well as show champions.įor us, Golden Retrievers epitomize the spirit of dogs for all reasons. Our goals are to produce beautiful, healthy and intelligent dogs for the present and future generations. We beam with pride whether our dogs have just won a major show event, an obedience trial, or provided their owners with reasons to smile. We have been active members of the Grey Bruce Kennel and Obedience Club, Golden Retriever Club of Canada, Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toronto, and Bruce is now a lifetime member of the Canadian Kennel Club.
In addition, we have dabbled in performance events and multiple Goldens from our breedings have gone on to compete in agility, obedience, dock diving, nosework, barnhunt and perform therapy dog work.Our involvement with dogs has spanned more than thirty years. A best friend, a loyal companion, an avid student and an even more patient teacher.Īnd if one is good, more must be even better! And so our saga (like so many others) began.Īlthough our interest began in the show ring, it didn’t take long before we also got hooked in the hunt arena. We discovered what so many before us already knew-Goldens are amazing! Everyone says they have the smartest dog, and with Jake we just knew we did! A dog that could understand not just words, but sentences.
Like so many other Golden Retriever owners, we fell in love when we got our first boy in 1997. Located in northwestern Washington state on a picturesque hilltop with spectacular views of the Puget Sound, Mount Baker and Whidbey Island, our Goldens rule our roost.
